Day 1: Athens – Delphi – Nafpaktos – Olympia

Your professional driver will pick you up from your Athens hotel in the morning.
On your way north, you’ll pass the region of Marathon, site of the pivotal 490 BC battle. Your driver will offer insightful commentary as you head toward the slopes of Mount Parnassus and the sanctuary of Delphi, once considered the center of the ancient world.
Upon arrival in Delphi, meet your licensed guide for a private guided tour through:

• The Castalian Spring and the sanctuary of Athena Pronaia

After lunch at a local taverna (recommendations provided), you’ll begin your journey west through the vast Olive Grove of Amfissa, the Corinthian Gulf coastline, and the historic port town of Nafpaktos, where a short coffee/photo stop can be made.
Cross the magnificent Rio-Antirrio Bridge and continue through the fertile Elis Valley before arriving in Olympia, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 2: Olympia – Corinth Canal – Athens
Wake up surrounded by the serene, pine-covered hills of Olympia. After breakfast, meet your local licensed guide for a private guided tour through:

• The ancient Olympic site, including the Temple of Zeus, Temple of Hera, and the original Olympic Stadium
