Continue to the Synagogue of Athens, built in 1904, still active during major holidays, and the larger Beth Shalom Sephardic Synagogue (1935, renovated in the 1970s), featuring a neoclassical exterior and a spacious interior distinct from traditional Greek synagogue design.
